Regular events
We have two regular events between May and September at the Lion, both proving popular time and again:
LIVE MUSIC Featuring local band ‘Hard Rain’ appearing May-September on the first and last Friday of each month. Hard Rain are a lively 7-piece that plays Dylan, Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Oasis, David Gray, The Waterboys, Paul Weller, Kinks ... anything that will get feet tapping.
PUB QUIZ Every Wednesday between May and September is Sid's general knowledge pub quiz. Just for fun – although Sid can normally have his arm twisted to part with a first prize! Normal start is 8pm, so arrive early to be sure of a table - come and pit your wits against some of our pub quiz regulars!
